Flying High

Hi Liam, Connor & Caitlin:

I had quite the adventure yesterday. After Nana and Grandpa drove me to New York City, we stayed in a hotel near the airport and then got up early to drive to the airport for our flight.

I wanted to have a seat in the plane with Nana and Grandpa (there were lots empty), but the airline insisted that I travel in my kennel in the cargo part of the airplane. The service down there sucks! No stewardesses and no snacks. However, all the people that I met on the ramp were very nice to me. They loaded my kennel on the baggage loader and waited til the end to put me on the airplane. Then they closed the doors and away we went.

First we flew to Toronto where some more airline cargo people came to get me and take me to see the Inspector who said that it was ok for me to come and live in Canada. One of the cargo people took me out of the kennel for a little walk. Then they took me to another airplane for my second flight to Vancouver.

When I got to Vancouver, Nana and Grandpa came to get me - let me tell you, I was happy to get out of my kennel after such a long time being in there. Nana and Grandpa drove me home to their house and I spent the next couple of hours sniffing absolutely everything - there are a lot of different smells here. I am kind of suspicious that there might have been another dog here before too. I am looking forward to see what happens tomorrow.

Love
Georgia
