Christmas in Langley

Dear Liam, Connor and Caitlin;

I last blogged about celebrating my birthday a few days ago and getting my cool new 'squirrel' present. There has been a hubbub around the house though for several days since. Initially, I thought that maybe birthdays lasted for a whole week but no, there is something else happening. People have been coming and going, like Uncle Dave and Auntie Alanna, Uncle Jim and Auntie Rita, and others too. Great Grandma Reith has come to stay for a while. And they brought a tree into the house - a real tree - I checked it out for squirrels but alas! Then they hung decorations on it and also put lights on it to make it sparkle.

Then Uncle Dave insisted that I wear these reindeer antlers - I think he might be a little confused about my species.

Yesterday, when I woke up however, there were stockings beside the tree in the living room. One of them had my picture on it and it smelled pretty interesting. Turned out that there were some treats in there and a couple of new toys.

The people here all call this time Christmas and have been telling each other Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas. There have been lots of really good food smells upstairs for the last few days too.

I think this Christmas thing is pretty neat and so Merry Christmas to you, Liam, Connor and Caitlin. I hope the person who brought the stocking with my treats and toys in it brought something for you too.

Love
Georgia

  1. I love you, Georgia. Merry Christmas! I hope you got to play in some snow.

    We can't wait to see you in February!

    Love Liam

    Editor's Note: BTW, does your doggie memory not go back a full year? This is your fifth Christmas!
    LOL, ~Marin
