Dear Liam, Connor & Caitlin:
I had my 5th Birthday on Wednesday which makes me like 30 in people years, so I have caught up to your Mommy.
Thank you very much for your present - it was just what I wanted! I know that I am not supposed to chase squirrels but it is just so darn tempting. I have such a hard time actually catching one because they always scoot up a tree just before I get to them (Grandpa says that is actually a good thing) so this is a cool present - I can come home and pounce on my new squeaky squirrel and work out my frustrations at not being able to catch the real thing.
It makes funny squeaky noises when i bite his tail and a different squeaky noise when I chew on the belly. It's fun to play with!
Nana & Grandpa bought me a present too - a new Goretex raincoat for the Pacific Northwest monsoons. Nana said that it will stop the house from smelling like wet dog after every walk.

Liam is very happy that Georgia liked her squirrel. He actually included her in his prayers on her birthday and asked that "Georgia like the squirrel we gave her"... prayer answered!
